Emergency training exercise planned for July 29-30 at Neville Arena

AUBURN, Ala.- Auburn Public Safety is partnering with Auburn University’s Emergency Management Department and the Lee County Emergency Management Agency to conduct an emergency response training exercise on July 29 and 30 at Neville Arena.

This exercise aims to strengthen coordination among local agencies to prepare for potential large-scale emergency situations.

The event will feature staged activity with sirens, lights and emergency response units on the scene.

Due to the level of activity, some parking lots and roads near Neville Arena will be closed both days between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., including:

  • South Donahue Drive between West Samford Avenue and War Eagle Way.
  • Heisman Drive between Wire Road and South Donahue Drive.
  • A portion of War Eagle Way between South Donahue Drive and Wire Road.

Drivers are advised to take alternate routes to avoid delays. Auburn Public Safety thanks the public for your patience as we ensure a safe and effective training environment.
